Makeup has been part
of my everyday routine since I was about 16 years old. I believe that everyone
can express themselves with makeup, but I also think that is not necessary for
anyone to wear it. It really depends on the person's preferences. Street makeup (everyday makeup) is just a way
of expression and not a necessity in my mind. Also, trends have come and go. For
instance, there was a time that every makeup user was doing cut creases, and
now, it seems that it is all about colorful eyeliners and glitter. Because
trends come and go, for me, street makeup has no rules. Still, I might not be
confident enough to go to my job wearing bright colors, and most of the time,
I would experiment with such colors only at home. As a result of COVID,
everything is being done remotely at my school and at my job and I have had the
chance to experiment a lot with such types of colors. However, in real life, at
work and school, I only wear neutral colors. But, again, there are people that
don’t like makeup or don’t wear it, there are people that wear bright colors very often and there are people that
prefer to keep it simple… and, in my mind, that is completely fine.
